The primary purpose of the role is to provide support to the Water and Sewer team specifically in the inflow & infiltration and backflow prevention programs as well as providing customer service advice of a general nature in water and sewer related matters.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Deliver high level of administration support to water and sewer operations to ensure successful completion of key water and sewer deliverables and legislative and regulatory requirements are met
  • Deliver quality customer service applying specialist knowledge and experience relating to Water and Sewer administrative matters, consistently delivering high quality outcomes in accordance with regulations and corporate goals
  • Accurate and efficient data input and records management using a range of Council databases and software packages
  • Research and prepare draft correspondence, minutes, reports, Council reports, and other documents for the Water Sewer team
  • Contribute to improving processes and services provided by the role and team to ensure effective, efficient and safe delivery of objectives
  • Self manage priorities and step up to pursue own and team goals with enthusiasm and commitment
  • Deliver outcomes for Council’s Inflow & Infiltration and Backflow Prevention Programs by way of specialist administrative support

About You

We are looking for a self-motivated individual with an eye for detail. Someone who -

  • Has a positive attitude and strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Can work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Has the ability to plan and prioritise changing deadlines and workloads

We are seeking someone who has or is willing to obtain:

  • Certificate III Business Administration or equivalent AND three years’ experience in a similar environment
  • Construction Induction Certificate (WHS White Card)
  • Class C Driver Licence

About the Role

Permanent Part time: 42-hour fortnight

Salary: Range from $68,135 to $78,353 pa (pro rata) + 11.5% super
